Tom O’Neill Joins Board of Trustees

Accrington Stanley Community Trust are delighted to announce that Tom O’Neill has joined the board of Trustees.

Tom joined as a trustee in April and brings a key skill set to the organisation. Tom qualified as a solicitor in 2005 after completing his LPC at University of Central Lancashire.

A Partner at Farley’s Commercial Law office, Tom specialises in commercial property including acquisitions and disposals, development site preparation and infrastructure, landlord and tenant work, development agreements, option agreements, refinancing transactions and property aspects of corporate transactions.

His clients include developers, a range of business from large companies to small/mid-size companies, individuals and pension trustees.

Tom has a keen passion for sport and is also a director of Accrington Stanley Football Club. He will use his expertise to help develop the Trust further and play a key role in the legalities of the Sports Hub project.

Speaking about his appointment Tom said ’ I am delighted to be invited to join the board of trustees and I believe I can add value to the current set up. The Trust delivers some excellent projects in Hyndburn and I look forward to helping us develop further.’’

Martin Fearon, CEO of the Trust added ‘’we are really pleased to have Tom join the board and he brings with him a lot of expertise that will be vital to the charities future development. We have a huge community Sports Hub project currently ongoing and we are looking forward to developing this with Tom and the rest of the board over the coming months.’’
