Easter Holiday Were A Cracking Success

This Easter holiday course has seen lots of new faces join the Stanley family as well as welcoming  back some familiar faces!

The holiday courses weren’t just for the football mad, in activity club there was lots of creativity floating around.

Soccer schools have been practicing their footballing skills such as goal keeping, dribbling, shooting, passing and finishing. Then putting them to use in matches against one another.

Meanwhile activity club have been busy creating bunny masks, egg designing, kite designing, stain glass windows as well as keeping active playing lots of different games.

Children received a free egg that were in attendance at the end of the first week while those that we in attendance the second week received a free child’s place to Guilvers World.

‘ Its great to see the confidence and skills of participants grow as the week progresses,’ commented Elle Kayley, Holiday course coach. ‘ Seeing the friendships being built while here is great witness. We hope to see many of the faces back later in the year!’

On the final day the holiday courses had a surprised visit from Callum Johnson and Paul Smyth who took part in a question and answer session, signed goods for the children and finished their visit with a player v children match!

All courses that are held at Accrington Academy every school holiday offering parents a solution to their child care problems during the holidays, with an early drop off available from 8.30am and pick up times of either 3pm or 5pm and prices as low as £10 a day it’s a winner!
