Children attending the Accrington Stanley match against Rochdale this Saturday will be able to celebrate World book day by receiving a free book!

Last Thursday saw World Book day take part all over the country, to celebrate this, the Premier League and the National Literacy Trust with the support of WH Smith are providing free books and book tokens for school age children. The aim of this project is to get all school age children a book of their own and encourage them to read more.

Accrington Stanley and the Accrington branch of WH Smith will hold a pop-up stall behind the Studio Family Stand before the match against Rochdale this Saturday. Where there will be a selection of books to choose from as well as book tokens to be given away.
