Speaking about the PFA led scheme Accrington Stanley Legend Andrew Procter said ‘It is great to get out there and give something back to the community. We often go into schools helping deliver coaching sessions and taking part in question and answer sessions. The children always look thrilled when a professional footballer comes into their school and it is great for us topfa engage with them. I and three other players are now acting as ambassadors for our club and we look forward to continuing our player appearances this season’.

The ambassadors will be the public figurehead of a number of different schemes run by the Community Trust and endorsed by the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA).
