First team players Seamus Conneely and Jordan Clark took time out of their schedule last week to surprised pupils at St Joseph’s Primary School Bacup.
The pair made their way around each class taking time to answer questions and sign photos for the pupils. They got questions about their favourite lessons at school as well as if they weren’t a footballer player what would they be and what was their favourite goal.
Elle Kayley, Community Engagement Officer said, ‘it was a fantastic afternoon all the children loved having professional footballers come to visit their school. Seamus and Jordan were great at answering all the questions that were sent their way and got involved in what was happening in each class.’
The school is part of our Premier League Primary Stars Project which has involved us delivering PE, English and PSHE lessons throughout the year. We hope visits like this will inspire children to reach their potential and motivate them to continue to work hard in class.
