On Wednesday 27th May, Accrington Stanley Community Trust have organised a futsal friendly for year 11 students who have already signed up for the Football Scholarships for September 2015 and any others who are interested in joining the course.

The friendly, against Preston North End, will be taking place at Stanley’s futsal training base at Hyndburn Sports Centre from 12pm till 2pm and is a great opportunity for those already signed up to the scholarship to meet the rest of their team mates and a chance for others who are interested to have a go and find out more from the Stanley coaches and current scholars, along with the chance to sign up there and then on the day!

Chris Mullen, Sports Development Officer & Football Coach, explains “events such as these have proved really useful for us over the past few years. Futsal is growing bigger every year in the North West and the close link we have with Kyle and PNE futsal gives us a fantastic chance to provide this open day for our new scholars starting in September to meet their new team mates and experience real life futsal matches against a great club in preparation for the new season”

The club will provide match kit, so all you need to bring is appropriate indoor footwear and shinpads, meeting at the sports centre for 11:30am.
