Success for Premier League Kicks

Success for Premier League Kicks

Since the launch of our Premier League Kicks sessions in September we have seen the number of local youngsters increase week on week. Our sessions are part of a national programme which started in 2006 which is now celebrating its 10th anniversary. By using the power that football has, the programme is able to reach youngsters in high need areas.

Communities throughout the UK have seen transformations since the Kicks sessions have been up and running. By giving local youngsters something to do, some authorities have said to have seen a 50% reduction in anti-social behaviour.

Our free sessions which are held on a Monday and Friday evening at Hyndburn Leisure Centre during term time are aim to encourage local children to take part in sports and the benefits it brings such as getting fitter or meeting new people, all done in a safe environment.

Our coaches make the matches fun as well as developing your potential. No matter what your ability is, you are welcome at Kicks!

Matt Parkinson, Football Development Officer comment ‘It’s rare these days to fine a free of charge football coaching session so to see so many local youngsters take advantage of it is brilliant’.

Whether you come with a group of mates or on your own, there isn’t a need to book on to the sessions, just turn up on either a Monday at 6pm or Friday at 6pm or even better turn up to both!
