Vacancy: Trainee Teacher-PAID

Accrington Stanley Community Trust are looking for a new member of staff to join our vibrant and forward thinking organisation, which helps develop a range of opportunities for the people of Accrington improve their lifestyles, education and health. We are delighted to be offering the unique opportunity for a Trainee Teacher to join our Education team.

When training to become a qualified teacher, trainee’s are required to undertake a certain amount of placement hours alongside their chosen qualification, and traditionally this is unpaid work. However, we are offering to provide a paid work placement for the trainee teacher which will compliment their studies and enhance employability opportunities for when they become fully qualified.

The successful candidate will be based within our Education department at the multi million pound Stanley Sports Hub and gain an insight into the day to day duties of a Sports Tutor. The Community Trust will also provide an education mentor to guide the trainee through the placement and support them with course and job related assistance.
