The Accrington Stanley Youth Team gives talented young players the chance to develop within the club environment while completing a recognised education programme.
Based at Stanley Sports Hub, players train alongside the professional club environment and combine football development with academic study and personal progression.

UEFA-qualified coaching
Train full-time with qualified coaches in a structured development environment.
Competitive football
Play competitive fixtures in the National Football Youth League and compete in the FA Youth Cup.

Train in the first-team environment and put yourself in a position to be considered for further opportunities with Accrington Stanley.

Who can request a Youth Team trial?
The current pathway is aimed primarily at players in the relevant Year 11 / U16 age group for the next intake.
Does submitting the form guarantee a trial?
No. The management and recruitment team reviews each request first and will contact the parent or guardian if there is an appropriate next step.
What football background should I include?
Include the player’s current club, playing level, primary position and any useful academy, representative or development experience.
Who should submit the request?
A parent or guardian should be the main contact for the trial request.
What happens after I submit?
The recruitment team will review the information and contact you if there is a suitable next step. You do not need to submit the form more than once.
