Accrington Stanley Community Trust is delighted to offer FA Comets, a fun and inclusive football session for children with disabilities and additional needs.

FA Comets is all about giving children the opportunity to play football, make friends, build confidence and have fun in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Sessions are designed to be flexible and can be adapted to suit the needs, confidence and ability of each child. Whether your child already loves football or has never kicked a ball before, they are very welcome to come along and give it a try.

When: Every Tuesday
Time: 5pm – 6pm
Where: Stanley Sports Hub, Thorneyholme Road, Accrington, BB5 6BD
Cost: FREE

Our coaches will use a mixture of fun football activities, games and small-sided matches, with the emphasis firmly on enjoyment and participation.

Who is FA Comets for?

FA Comets is designed for children who have a disability or additional needs and who may benefit from a more inclusive and supportive football environment.

We understand that every child is different, so parents and carers are encouraged to let us know about any additional support, medical or communication needs when registering. This helps our coaches make the session as enjoyable and accessible as possible.

No previous football experience is needed and there is no pressure to be at a certain standard.
