This season marks an exciting milestone for Accrington Stanley Community Trust, as the Trust has received funding to deliver Premier League Inspires for the first time, creating new opportunities for young people to develop their skills, confidence and aspirations.
The programme will use the power and appeal of football to engage young people and help them develop the personal skills and positive attitudes they need to succeed in education, employment and life.
What is Premier League Inspires?
Premier League Inspires is a targeted personal development programme developed by the Premier League and professional football clubs. The programme uses the positive influence of football to create meaningful opportunities for young people, helping them develop personal, social, employability and life skills.
Rather than simply focusing on football, Premier League Inspires uses football as a vehicle to open conversations and create experiences around subjects that can have a lasting impact on young people’s lives.
The programme provides young people with opportunities to build confidence, explore their aspirations and develop the skills they need to make positive decisions about their future.
