Accrington Stanley Football Club, in partnership with Accrington Stanley Community Trust, is proud to announce the launch of a brand-new Youth Team for the 2026/27 season.

This exciting new pathway gives talented young players the chance to develop their skills, study for a recognised qualification, and push for a future in professional football — all at the £4m Stanley Sports Hub, training alongside the Accrington Stanley First Team.

• Study a BTEC Level 3 in Sport alongside football development

🔴 U16s Training Group – Your First Step

Before the official launch, the 2025/26 season will see the introduction of an U16s Training Group at the Stanley Sports Hub.

Led by Club Captain Seamus Conneely and UEFA coaches, this group will prepare players for the next step in competitive youth football. Regular training and friendly fixtures will give young players the platform to shine — and the chance to earn a two-year scholarship with the Youth Team from July 2026.

Trials will take place at the Stanley Sports Hub:

• Tuesday 16th September – 7:00pm to 9:00pm

• Tuesday 23rd September – 7:00pm to 9:00pm
