Accrington Stanley Community Trust are again offering young footballers a unique opportunity to train with the clubs academy coaches.
Our Elite Soccer School will be running during the Easter school holidays and is open to young footballers aged 7-12. Academy coaches will be delivering sessions aimed at helping youngsters develop all areas of their game.
The Elite Soccer Schools aim to:
- Provide an enjoyable, safe and secure learning environment;
- Improve the players technical ability;
- Compliment the player’s current football provision (i.e. Academy Football, Grass roots football);
- Provide high quality coaching sessions through a developed technical program;
- Increase the standard of football they may play at later in life;
- Show patience and understanding towards the players learning style and physical developments.
- Use the FA Four Corner Player Development Model to develop participants Physically, Socially, Technically and Psychologically
- Have innovative and fun sessions including analysis to help players enhance their skills
- Not add any pressure onto young players by fear of failure and have no players being released
- Split the group in terms of technical ability and development rather than physiological characteristic

The course will be based at Accrington Academy High School on their state of the art 3G pitch and will run in line with the new holiday time options, 9-3pm or 9-5pm. Children are asked to bring a packed lunch and appropriate clothing for all weather.
