The new weekly session in Accrington will take place as follows;

Every Monday (starts 28th September)

Venue; Hyndburn Leisure Centre (3G pitch), Henry Street, Accrington

6pm – 7pm 11-13 year olds

7pm – 8pm 14-19 year olds

Martin Fearon, Community Manager at Accrington Stanley Community Trust said, “This is a new project we are bringing to the area of Hyndburn and one that I am confident is going to be a huge success. We have a close relationship with Burnley FC and it is great to be able to work together to provide this opportunity for the community. There is a lot of histroy between our clubs who are both founder members of the football league. We are also in the process of looking into other areas of community work that we can support each other on.”

Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer of Burnley FC in the Community said, “Thanks to funding from Lancashire County Council we are delighted to form a close working partnership with Accrington Stanley Community Trust to deliver joint community work in Accrington. With the close proximity of the two clubs we are delighted to be able to have a presence in Accrington in partnership with Accrington Stanley Community Trust. This is very much the start of many more opportunities for us to be working with Accrington Stanley Community Trust for the benefit of the Hyndburn community.”
