Pupils at Baxenden St John’s Primary were none the wiser that their usual Move and Learn session would not be the normal afternoon lesson that they are accustomed to.

As part of the #EFLWeekofAction, Year 5 were paid a visit by Accrington Stanley midfielders David Morgan and club captain Seamus Conneely.

Everyone had an opportunity to quiz the players in a Q&A session, with a wide range of questions fired at both men.

This was then followed by an opportunity to take photos with the players and each pupil also came away with a signed matchday programme.

The #EFLWeekofAction highlights all sorts of initiatives and activities which Football League Clubs deliver in their local communities all year round.
