One lucky young footballer has received a free Accrington Stanley kit in recognition for him regularly attending one of our Futsal Satellite Clubs. Billy Williams has attended every one of our Monday night sessions so far this academic year and shows a great attitude when he is there.

One of the older members of the group Billy is a brilliant role model to the young players and often also helps the coaches picking teams, refereeing or helping with equipment! Well done Billy from everyone at Accrington Stanley Community Trust.

Accrington Stanley Community Trust have 8 Satellite Clubs running each week during the school year. Each session lasts for 60 minutes and focuses on Futsal, an indoor version of football which is one of the fastest growing sports on the planet.

Our Satellite Clubs are extensions of community sports clubs specifically targeted at 14 to 16 year olds. They make it easy for young people to stay in sport, or to start playing sport for the first time. They provide a stepping stone for young people to access local community clubs helping to make participating in sport a lifelong habit.

We offer a fantastic exit route for participants of our Satellite Clubs which will see them offered a place on our Football Education Scholarships.
