We are delighted to announce we are launching another weekly Premier League Kicks session based at Hyndburn leisure Centre . Starting on Thursday 26th October the session will run every Thursday 5pn-6pm and is open to young people aged between 8-17 and it’s completely FREE to attend!

Premier League Kicks gives young people access to free football sessions, sports sessions and workshops, providing them with opportunities, support and pathways to achieve their full potential. It sees club community staff working closely with young people and authorities in their local area, including police and Hyndburn Council to create stronger, safer and more inclusive communities.

PL Kicks Project Lead Brigan Young explains  “We have launched this new session to engage with the wider community and to offer more opportunities for young people in the local area to take part in sports in a safe and secure environment. Before Covid we ran a very successful weekly session at Hyndburn Leisure Centre and its brilliant we are now in a position to get it going again.”

Accrington Stanley Community Trust has been running Premier League Kicks sessions for the past 10 years and has encouraged more than 1200 participants to take part in positive activities. By launching more sessions in different areas of the community, we are hoping to further engage more participants and have a positive impact, providing them with opportunities and pathways they may not have been able to access previously.

We also have sessions held at Stanley Sports Hub on Mondays and Fridays 5pm-6pm and a new youth club held 6pm-8pm also at Stanley Sports Hub. All the PL Kicks activities are completely free of charge!
