With the summer right around the corner, spaces are limited for the NCS 2016 summer trip.

NCS is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all 16 & 17 year olds in England to help build current skills and gain new skills for work that employers look for in young people as well as learning new life skills. More than 200,000 young people have said Yes to NCS which gives you every opportunity to meet new people and create memories that will last a life time.

On the project you will spend the first week away from home with your team in the great outdoors, getting to know each other and experiencing the freedom of being away from home with new friends. You’ll get the chance to take part in adrenaline-fuelled activities with your team mates like: rock climbing, canoeing, hiking and archery.

You will then have an opportunity to live as a student for a week at UCLAN in Preston where you will experience what it is to be like a modern day student, living independently and key life skills.

Last but by no means least… you will put all the skills you’ve learnt and the experiences you’ve had into practice. You will undertake a group project that is aimed at helping your community and local area thrive, improve and develop becoming bigger, better and stronger.

After all the fun and hard work is out the way you will be awarded a qualification that is approved by UCAS and can help on achieving your goal by moving onto University or College. As well as gaining skills that are recognised by employers which will aid you in any job application in the future.
