Trustee Vacancy: Health & Safety Portfolio

Trustee Vacancy: Health & Safety Portfolio

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Accrington Stanley Community Trust to serve on the Board of Trustees. We are specifically looking for a new Trustee with experience in Health & Safety.

We expect trustees to contribute actively to the board by supporting the Chief Executive Officer to shape the charity’s work through creative and informed thinking. We want to have a wide range of people on the board that seek to be representative of the diverse population of Hyndburn. There is no need to have prior trustee experience to apply. An interest in supporting local people using the vehicle of Accrington Stanley is essential.

An overview of our community work can be seen in our latest impact report here: https://user-29310172.cld.bz/Accrington-Stanley-Community-Trust-Impact-Report-2021

The board will meet approximately six times a year at Stanley Sports Hub, however there may also be occasions where decisions need to be made outside of board meetings.

If you would like to express your interest in this position, please send a covering letter outlining your motivation and suitability to the role to: martin.fearon@stanleytrust.co.uk

All applications will be considered by the Board.
