Football Development Centre Image

Our Football Development Centres returned this Monday after a break for the holidays. The sessions split into two aged brackets 4-6year olds 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 7-9 year olds 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Accrington Academy. We had some familiar faces back after the holidays as well as some new ones. The sessions are aimed at children that haven’t played football to those that play regularly and each week a new topic is taught. This week the 4-6year olds were concentrating on movement and awareness. This was done through a game that makes the children more aware of their movements and how to dodge other player’s safety. The 7-9 year olds were teamed up in twos to learn about ball movement and how to get around an opposing player at speed safety.

If you children would love football but haven’t played before or if they regularly play then book them on to the football development centre course at http://www.stanleytrust.co.uk/product-category/football-development-centre/ or bring them down for a session.
