Accrington Stanley Community Trust have launched a new adult football session that is held at St Christopher’s High School for the over 35’s.
The weekly session allows adults to play friendly small sided football in order to stay active and continue to play the beautiful game. At present, we hold a drop-in and play session every Wednesday at St Christopher’s High School at 7.30pm. The cost will be £4 per session.
There is no specific coaching, it’s just an opportunity for adults to turn up, separate into two teams and play football. There is always a Community Trust coach on hand to answer any questions and join in with the football. Sessions are purely about playing football, getting a healthy sweat on and improving fitness.
Lee Walsh, Head of Sport said, ‘It is an opportunity for like minded people to come together weekly to play friendly small sided games. It will be a great way to stay involved with football and stay fit at the same time’.
