Everyone is welcome to join us this Armed Forces Day, Saturday 24th June for our first ever Armed Forces Summer Fair at Stanley Sports Hub!
All money raised on the day will be donated to Veterans in the Community. They are a East Lancashire based Armed Forces charity working across Rossendale, Pendle, Burnley, Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale. They support former ex-service personnel and their families who have or are having difficulties with returning to civilian life or just want to socialise with likeminded people.

‘With Armed Forces Day being on 24th June, we as a Community Trust thought it would be excellent to support Armed Forces in Hyndburn by hosting a Summer Fair for everyone to attend. Not only is it a fun filled day for all of the family but with the attendance of Veterans in the Community and Royal British Legion, it is also a chance for the people of Accrington to find out the support ourselves and other charities are offering to local veterans and their families. We are hoping to have as many people attend as possible so we can continue to provide these amazing events in the community’, commented Gabby Sabatino, Head of Community Engagement.
