Accrington Stanley Community Trust is looking to recruit a Community Sports Coach to work within our OUTSTANDING Sport & Health department.
The Community Sports Coach will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching in primary schools and other community settings, fostering a passion for physical activity while supporting personal development. As part of the Accrington Stanley Community Trust, you will help participants of all ages reach their full potential and encourage sustained engagement in physical activity.
A key aspect of this role will be delivering a variety of sports-based projects, focusing on providing opportunities for young people to engage in physical activity, develop their skills, and improve both physical and mental wellbeing.
As a Community Sports Coach, you will also promote healthy lifestyle choices and deliver educational messages through football and sport. This role will primarily involve coaching in primary and secondary school settings, with regular collaboration across schools in Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, and Rossendale.
The ideal candidate will have at least an FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football, and will be expected to work weekends, evenings, and match days as required by the charity.
A valid UK driving licence with business insurance is essential, as the role involves travel across East Lancashire and other areas.

Accrington Stanley Community Trust is the official charity of Accrington Stanley Football Club, dedicated to improving lives across Hyndburn. The Role
We are seeking a full-time, permanent Sports Tutor to support the delivery of our Further Education programmes. This role is ideal for someone with a degree in sport or physical education, a Level 5+ teaching qualification, and a passion for working with young people aged 16-19.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:

A degree in sport or PE

A recognised teaching qualification (Level 5 or above)

A passion for education, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate young people
Knowledge of NCFE and BTEC qualifications and experience in a FE setting are desirable but not essential.

Job Vacancy: Sport Tutor & Female Football Lead
Accrington Stanley Community Trust is looking to recruit a Sport Tutor & Female Football Lead to work within our Football College department based at the £4m Stanley Sports Hub.
Under the direction of the Head of Education, the successful candidate will carry out the professional duties of a Further Education Sports Tutor and lead on our brand new post 16 Female Football Academy, with the hours split 50/50 across the 2 roles. The weekly schedule for this role would typically include a maximum of 12 hours teaching and 8-10 hours coaching, with the remainder assigned to admin and recruitment duties.
Accrington Stanley Community Trust place an emphasis on developing the individual both academically and as a person, and would expect the post-holder to contribute towards this ethos.
The ideal candidate will have at least an UEFA C (FA Level 2) Certificate in Coaching Football and a recognised teaching qualification (Level 5 or above).
