Accrington Stanley Community Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Kimberley Whitehead to its Board of Trustees.
Kimberley joins the Board as the Trust’s Governance Portfolio Holder, bringing a wealth of experience across local government, governance, community safety and public service.
She currently serves as Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire, where she leads on Prevention and Partnerships, governance and scrutiny. Alongside her public service role, Kimberley has over 20 years’ experience working within the utilities sector.

Born and raised in East Lancashire, Kimberley is passionate about creating opportunities for local people and firmly believes that sport has the power to transform lives, strengthen communities and promote community cohesion. Throughout her career, she has championed investment in grassroots sport, community facilities and initiatives that bring people together from all backgrounds.
Kimberley’s appointment further strengthens the Trust’s Board, bringing valuable governance expertise and strategic insight at an exciting time for the charity as it continues to expand its programmes and develop new community facilities.
